Did You Know Canva Can Translate Your Classroom Resources?
If you create worksheets, bulletin boards, newsletters, or classroom resources in Canva, here's a feature that can save you a tremendous amount of time—the Translate tool.
Instead of recreating an activity from scratch in another language, Canva can translate your entire design in just a few clicks.
Watch the video here, or read through the post.
How to Use Canva's Translate Feature
Here's how it works: Open your Canva design. (I chose one of Canva's worksheet templates.)
Select the text boxes you want to translate into another language.
Click the three-dot (...) menu that appears in the toolbar after selecting the text.
Choose "Translate," then select the language you'd like your design translated into.
Click "Translate" and let Canva do the work!
Check the document with a person whom natively speaks the language.
Print the document

In my example, I translated one of my "Name That Instrument!" worksheets from English into Spanish in just seconds.
Why You Will Love This
This feature can be incredibly helpful if you:
Create resources for multilingual learners.
Need parent communication in multiple languages.
Teach beginning music vocabulary in another language.
Want to make classroom materials more accessible for your students and families.
Rather than rebuilding an entire worksheet, Canva does the heavy lifting for you.
One Important Tip
While Canva's translation tool is impressively fast, it's always a good idea to proofread the finished translation before sharing it with students or families. Automatic translations are excellent, but occasionally a musical term or classroom phrase may need a small adjustment.
Give It a Try!
If you haven't explored Canva's Translate feature yet, it's definitely worth adding to your teacher toolkit. It's one of those small features that can make a big difference—especially when you're juggling lesson planning, performances, and classroom communication.
Have you used Canva's Translate tool in your music classroom? I'd love to hear how you're using it!
